Manufacturers often buy a housing for a product from one company who distribute to many manufacturers. This is to keep the cost down but also means that two products may look the same but does not mean that it will be the same quality. One important part of our system is its power source. Make sure the system comes with a regulated power supply, Standard power supplies are not regulated and will put out a lot more voltage then the camera needs, thus overheating the system and shortening its life.
